Project Overview

This project consisted of the full reconstruction and modernization of Davidson Park for the NYC Parks Department. The work included demolition of existing playground equipment, pavements, fencing, and utilities, followed by installation of new concrete and asphalt walkways, retaining walls, playground and spray features, safety surfacing, fencing, lighting, drainage systems, and landscaping.

The result is a fully upgraded, accessible, and durable community park built to meet NYC Parks standards and serve the surrounding neighborhood for years to come.

This project included the full reconstruction and modernization of Davidson Park, delivering new recreational spaces, upgraded infrastructure, and enhanced public amenities for the surrounding community.

Demolition and removal of existing play equipment, safety surfacing, asphalt and concrete pavements, fencing, benches, spray features, and site utilities.
Construction of new concrete and asphalt pavements, curbs, retaining walls, and structural site improvements.
Installation of new playground equipment, swings, spray shower elements, safety surfacing, and site furnishings.
Installation of steel bar fencing, chain link fencing, and gates throughout the park.
Drainage and plumbing upgrades including catch basins, RPZ assemblies, water supply connections, and spray fixtures.
Electrical and lighting improvements, including new luminaires and site power components.
Landscaping and planting work with tree protection, soil preparation, and restoration of planted areas.
Grading and site layout improvements to enhance accessibility, circulation, and drainage performance.
Complete restoration of disturbed areas and project closeout in accordance with NYC Parks standards and specifications.
