The 16th Street Park Improvements project involved full reconstruction and modernization of an existing urban recreation space, including new athletic courts, playground features, sprayground equipment, landscaping, and ADA-compliant access improvements. Work included demolition, new paving systems, lighting upgrades, fencing installation, and drainage infrastructure improvements to create a durable and accessible community park environment.

Detailed Scope of Work

Demolition and removal of existing asphalt pavement, concrete sidewalks, fencing, gates, utility poles, and site furnishings.
Installation of new concrete sidewalks, curbs, colored concrete paving, acrylic sport surfaces, and asphalt pavement restoration.
Construction of basketball courts, pickleball courts, synthetic lawn areas, and rubber safety surfacing systems.
Installation of playground equipment, sprayground water features, benches, picnic tables, trash receptacles, and site furnishings.
Installation of decorative area lighting, electrical infrastructure, and coordination with utility providers.
Landscaping improvements including tree pits, planting areas, soil preparation, and site restoration.
Installation of new fencing systems, gates, and tree pit guards surrounding recreation areas.
Final site grading, striping, ADA improvements, inspections, closeout documentation, and project turnover in accordance with municipal standards.
